This past weekend there was also the first Time Trial of the season in the NJ Time Trial Cup, as always with the prologue in Sandy Hook. Weather can be challenging there, especially the winds as it is near the ocean and one becomes an “open target”. Although the sun was brightly shining riders were treated with a strong tailwind on the way out (31 mph average speed) and a massive headwind on the way back (22.5 mph). It was crucial to have strong power left on the return leg while feeling like standing still. FinKraft scored three age category wins with Glenn Babikian in the M50, Kate Tormey in the Senior Women and Andreas Runggatscher in the M45. A big day for our TT Specialists.
